Aglaonemas are native to Southeast Asia and S. China. There are ±25 species and 100s of cultivars that can grow to a max. height of 30–120 cm. In Chinese culture, they are considered a symbol of good luck and prosperity, especially the red varieties.

Care instructions
- Light: Lots of indirect sunlight, tolerates low light as well.
- Watering: Keep soil moist in summer, let it dry completely between watering in winter.
- Min. temperature: 18 °C. Keep the plant away from drafts.
- Extra care info: Red/pink varieties require more light than the green ones.
