Clay pebbles are helpful to avoid soggy soil in your houseplants that are potted in containers without drainage holes. Put a layer of about 2 or 3 cm thick at the bottom of a container before adding potting soil. The pebbles will increase air circulation, protect the roots and favour plant growth.
