Heerlijke filterkoffie van MOK.
Buno Coffee Trading is a small exporter, managing seven washing stations in the area and focusing on working with farmers with 8-15 hectares of land to ensure quality improvements. At Buno, farmers are rewarded for waiting to pick only fully ripened cherries, receiving a premium of one birr per kilo delivered after the harvest. Furthermore, Buno provides a credit line to farmers during the off-season for harvest-related expenses, making the process even more sustainable.
This coffee is sourced from Dikitu one of Buno's sites, in the southern region of Guji at an altitude of over 2000 meters, with 120 raised beds exclusively for processing natural coffees. Nine farmers contributed to this lot, and the farmgate price paid to them was 45-50 Ethiopian Birr per kg of cherry. The coffee is grown under a canopy of native shade trees, such as acacia and wanza, in the local volcanic fertile red soil and deep sandy loam.
