Together with Sucafina, MOK visited Ichuga last year on their first Kenya trip. They cupped over 200 coffees and visited many mills, including those located nearby Ichuga, practicing the same techniques on cherries from neighbouring farms. Yet somehow Ichuga always came out on top. MOK believes it must be the people picking, those working at the mill and the manager who pay that extra attention to detail.

Ichuga AB truly tastes like a vintage Kenya, bursting with blackcurrant and rhubarb, the intensity in this cup is something we’ve rarely come across the past few years.
