During this Kintsugi workshop, you will first learn about the rich history and beautiful philosophy of Kintsugi, then break & repair a beautiful ceramic bowl.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of restoring broken objects with gold lacquer so that the repaired items just become more beautiful, not in spite of but because of their gold cracks. Kintsugi is based on the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi; embracing imperfections.
